ENISA Guidelines on Security Measures for Digital Identity Wallets

to provide guidelines on the protection of digital identity wallets in the form of a set

of security measures that are considered essential to protect the associated assets from a

diverse set of related threats and risks. In particular, the report focuses on providing

guidelines on security measures for digital wallets, considering integration with the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI).

On the one hand, it serves to support identity wallet application engineers by providing a checklist of appropriate security measures.

On the other hand, it allows national authorities, supervisory bodies, auditors, etc. to evaluate

digital wallet implementations.

The report also provides recommendations for digital identity wallets that accommodate different types of identity information and credentials, thus addressing the security needs for 3 distinct use cases.

ENISA Zero Trust Architecture training

WeSIS Director was proud to participate in the development and delivery of a training program on Zero Trust Architecture on behalf of ENISA. The project was coordinated by CyberNoesis.

The main objective of the training was to provide participants an in-depth knowledge on the zero-trust security model and deployment options, as well as guidance on how to implement it in their organisation. Participants get a good understanding about security measures that can be deployed to confront major threats and reduce the associated risks by implementing a zero-trust security model.

The training consisted of two parts: an asynchronous e-learning with an analysis of a well-studied ransomware attack, and a 2-day classroom on the zero-trust approach. The learning objectives of the course were met by combining the theoretical analysis of existing standards and best practices, with an extensive set of activities in the form of a table-top exercise that allow participants to practice some of the learning outcomes, enhance their knowledge and understanding and acquire some basic skills on the design, implementation and maturity evaluation of zero-trust architectures.

New Greek e-Government Interoperability Framework

WeSIS Director coordinated the development of the new Greek e-Gov Interoperability Framework which satisfies the requirements of the current European and Greek legislation as well as the European Interoperability Framework and provides specific instructions for the creation of interoperable digital public services. the project was funded by Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance. EU Risk Management Frameworks Interoperability

The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) issues an analysis of the interoperability potential of cybersecurity risk management frameworks and methodologies to improve decision-making.

Training on Cyber Threat Management

This course aims to provide an in-depth knowledge on top cyber threats and prepare participants to efficiently confront contemporary and emerging cyber-threats. It provides insights on the options security experts have in deploying efficient organizational and technical measures against the analysed threats.

Collaboration with Multimedia, Security and Networking Laboratory
